Ecosis Leadership

Vedansh Bhageria brings a combination of engineering fundamentals and business strategy to the leadership of Ecosis. A graduate in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the University of Nottingham and an ISB alumnus, he has 10 years of experience in the polyester yarn industry within the Filatex ecosystem. He provides strategic direction for Ecosis’s commercial development, partner engagement, and market positioning as the platform scales to commercial operations.

Dr. Bhaumik is the scientific architect of Ecosis’s recycling process. He holds an MTech and PhD in Fibre Sciences and Technology from IIT Delhi, where he also served as a Senior Research Officer. His published research in international and Indian journals covers polymer science, fibre technology, and textile recycling chemistry. At Ecosis, he leads the R&D programme that produced the granted patent for the core technical innovation that enables Ecosis to process the hardest-to-recycle polyester waste streams.

The Filatex India leadership provides the institutional foundation, manufacturing infrastructure, and industrial credibility upon which Ecosis is built. Their decades of experience in polyester production are the reason Ecosis can move from pilot to commercial scale with the confidence and speed that a standalone recycling startup could not.

A pioneering force in India's man-made fibre industry, Mr. Madhu Sudhan Bhageria has led Filatex India as Managing Director since 2008 and as Chairman since 2017, building it into one of the country's top polyester filament yarn producers. A commerce graduate of Shri Ram College of Commerce, he pairs deep operational discipline with a forward-looking conviction that circularity is the industry's next frontier.

Mr. Purrshottam Bhaggeria brings an entrepreneur's curiosity and an industrialist's discipline to Filatex India, where he serves as the Vice-Chairman and Joint Managing Director. An MBA from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management and a commerce honours graduate of Shri Ram College of Commerce, he combines global business acumen with strong strategic and stakeholder leadership.

With over three decades of cross-functional leadership, Mr. Madhav Bhageria has been instrumental in shaping Filatex India's growth and operational strength as Joint Managing Director. His expertise spans marketing, operations, liaisoning and contracts, giving him a hands-on, end-to-end view of the business; he is a commerce graduate of Hindu College, Delhi University.
